His family made their own website called ‘Finding David Sneddon’ in December of 2004, a few months after his disappearance. Over a decade after David’s disappearance, his parents would receive a phone call from one of the unlikeliest of places. A lawyer named Nicholas Craft, who also happened to be a North Korea expert, told them that David’s case sounded like many other North Korean kidnappings. And crazily, another North Korean expert named Melanie Kirkpatrick couldn’t agree more. She would even go on to say that his story sounded all too familiar.
