Then on June 27, 2007, Paige went out on another date with her ex-husband. They had met up at in a rest stop in an area in between where she lived in Grand Junction, and Ron’s house, which was around 4 hours away. They had supposedly planned an entire day to be together while her kids stayed home with a live-in nanny. Her sister-in-law Callie had even said, “She was very excited about rekindling her relationship with Ron.”

Paige made her way home that night around 9 p.m., having to drive the 2 hours back to her house in Grand Juncture. She called her ex-husband from her mobile when she was only a few miles from home. After speaking for a few minutes, she told him that she would make sure to give him another call later on that night. But that phone call never came.
