17. They Have Difficulty Regulating Their Emotions and Behavior
People suffering from narcissistic personality disorder only see things as either very good or very bad, with no middle ground to consider. This holds true with their emotions and behavior as well. Narcissists have trouble regulating their feelings, which can only be described as extreme.
When faced with opposition, these people fail to see reason and become consumed with rage. They also tend to push their limits in their unquenchable thirst to become the best, a trait that often leads to dangerous and destructive behavior that can cause harm not only to themselves but to other people as well.
