They’re Not Baristas

The world may call their employees ‘baristas,’ but in Starbucks, they actually refer to their employees as partners. It may seem like they just decided to use the term for professional reasons, but according to one Starbucks partner from Florida, “We’re referred to as ‘partners’ because a year into our employment, we get a small percentage in the company, so we’re all stock partners.” Not a bad deal, if you ask us. It’s is a globally renowned company after all.
