The military was quickly involved in the search for Cooper and the missing money. A few jets, a C-130 plane, and a helicopter did an aerial search of the area where Cooper jumped off the Northwest flight. Plus 1,000 soldiers scoured the surrounding area where he had possibly landed. Even an SR-71 spy plane had been missioned to take a photo of the flight area taken by Cooper around the area he parachuted off the plane from, but nothing had ever come out of that either.

The Crew Involved

Needing to figure out more information on what had exactly happened during the flight, they interviewed the crew on board. Much of the focus was on the flight attendant, Tina Mucklow since she had supposedly dealt with Cooper the most, acting as his liaison with the pilots and other crew of the plane. It was said that after giving her statement, Mucklow chose to spend over a decade out of the public eye, living in a convent.
