Calling It Quits

Time continued to pass, and still, the FBI was no closer to finding out what had happened to the amazing hijacker. Despite the amount of time and effort that went into it, they still couldn’t find the evidence they needed to track their enigmatic criminal down. It would seem, to the entire world’s awe, that D.B. Cooper was basically a ghost.

Hundreds Of Theories

After failing at finding any other evidence of Cooper’s whereabouts, hundreds of theories about Cooper’ began to pop up. Author Ross Richardson wrote a book about Cooper, and other mysterious disappearances including people, ships, and planes. He claims that D.B. Cooper was actually Richard Lepsy, a Grayling, Michigan resident who disappeared in October of 1969, leaving behind a wife and 4 kids, never to be seen again.
