Few people enjoy working out, but would you go to the gym if it meant you could score a free and healthy meal? For the first time ever, a cafe based in England is offering patrons a free lunch if they commit to working out for just six minutes.

The Run For Your Bun cafe requires hungry visitors to spend one minute on a rowing machine, one minute on a treadmill, one minute on a spin bike, one minute each of doing situps, bodyweight squats, and lunges to “pay” for one’s meal. A 30-second rest break is allowed between exercises.

After the workout is completed, a few lunch options are offered. One can choose from the following:

  • Smashed avocado with cherry tomatoes, goats cheese, chili, and lime on toasted wholemeal bread
  • Giant couscous with apricots, raisins, pine nuts, lemon, coriander and fresh basil with a balsamic dressing
  • Grilled chicken breast burger with tomato, red onion, and garlic mayo
  • Pitta pockets with mixed salad and a choice of smoked salmon or grilled halloumi filling

The restaurant was founded by the David Lloyd Clubs, and the intention behind it is to encourage workers to be more active during the day. After all, 90% of office workers sit on their behinds while accomplishing their work. In one year, that adds up to 1,578 hours or 65.8 days of not moving, according to International Business Times UK.

CEO of David Lloyd Leisure, Glenn Earlam, told the press that in addition to promoting the company’s gyms, the new venture aims to ensure UK residents make healthy and conscious choices every day.

“The important thing is is that you get up, and don’t sit still for six hours, because it genuinely is quite bad for you. Just get up,’” said Earlam. “When you can, when you’re on that tube in the morning, walk up that escalator rather than just standing, just move. It’s the little things.”

Following is a video produced by Claudia Romeo that details what the experience is really like:
