Jaimie could physically and mentally feel the kind of freedom that he had dreamed of for so long after one simple haircut. But while it may have just seemed like a regular haircut to others, for Jaimie, it was already life changing. He explained, “It was one of the happiest moments of my life. It finally felt like me.”

His Family Didn’t Like It

Although his family claimed to have accepted the fact that he had said he was a lesbian, his mom was finding it more and more difficult to acknowledge. Jaimie expounded, “My mom actually said to me, ‘I don’t care if you like girls. But why do you have to dress like a man?”
