Jaimie went on to share, “I looked super happy but I was dealing with more than people knew. I didn’t feel like a girl. When I was alone I would tuck my hair in a hat. But around family and friends, I felt pressured to be a ‘pretty girl’.” But it was going to get old fast, he was getting tired of living a lie and not being who he really was deep down inside.
Telling Them He Was Lesbian
By the time that Jaimie was in second year high school, he knew he had to say something to his family. Not exactly knowing how to tell the people he loved the most that he felt like he was really a boy inside, he decided to tell them that he was a lesbian, thinking that this wouldn’t be too difficult to accept. But it still wasn’t the full truth, and yet, he couldn’t bring himself to break it to them just yet.
