Texas Day Care Fire
Jessica Tata had a daycare center in her home where she was taking care of 7 different aged children between 16 months to 3 years. In February 2011, Tata decided to leave the children alone in her house to get a few things from Target. But what she didn’t expect to happen was for a pan filled with oil, which she had left burning on the stove, to break out into a fire. The fire resulted in the deaths of 4 of the kids left under her supervision.
