A blogger popularly known as ‘seaside girl Little Seven’ from China made a decision that she had to do something so drastically weird to be in the spotlight. This isn’t a surprising feat considering the challenges that have been circling around such as Tide pod-gobbling, condom snorting and KiKi dancing, which have made other viral celebrities infamous, or worse, sent to the emergency room. Now, seaside girl Little Seven wanted to join the bandwagon and introduce a new and ridiculous challenge – ‘Eat-A-Live-Octopus’!

The 50-second video filmed in Jiangsu city, Lianyugang shows her trying to eat an octopus by first, attaching the octopus to herself to give some semblance of a healthy relationship between the human and their food. But soon after, this octopus starting sticking its tentacles all over her face, with one hooked to her upper lip, and the other to her eyelid. As she keeps trying to pull it off, she’s screaming and complaining about its pain.

The fight finally ends with the girl freeing herself from her supposed lunch, with blood dripping from her face. At this point, any normal being would decide to never eat an octopus again. But what does this vlogger do? She promises her viewers that she would eat another one next time.

What has this world come to?

The Giant Pacific octopus have almost 280 sucks in its eight tentacles. They use this as their protection against predators by wrapping their tentacles and squeezing them.

Hopefully, this video serves as a reminder not to mess with nature, or to just stop doing stupid acts for the sake of going viral.

Only time can tell.
