A man who had once been a contestant, and was even chosen as the winner, on the infamous 70’s dating show “The Dating Game,” has finally been given the justice that he deserves. And a young daughter, the young and innocent Robin Samsoe, can finally rest in the peace that they have so hopefully longed for, for over 35 years. Many have to wonder how America’s criminal justice system could have failed this family for so long, but whatever the case may be, the family can have respite in knowing that their daughter’s killer will get the due process he so rightly deserves.
Rodney Alcala, A Killer At Heart
Considered by some as one of America’s most prolific serial killers, Rodney James Alcala was born on August 23, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas, originally as Rodrigo Jacques Alcala Buquor. When he was only 8-years old, he ended up moving to Mexico where his father left him, his sister and their mother to their own devices. The three ended up deciding to make a new life in Los Angeles soon after that.
