She was pleasantly surprised when she handed the week-old fans to her husband Logan, 33, who was holding Brooks on his other arm when Brooks’ face immediately lit up and he couldn’t stop smiling while staring at his baby sister.

This heartwarming video shows Brooks in absolute contentment, giggling in excitement as he just watches his sister. However, when  Ashlyn gets the infant back, Brooks starts crying immediately before you hear his mother asking: “You want her back? Okay, okay, okay, okay.”

Once his sister is back in his father’s arms, Brooks genuine smile returns as he puts his head on his fathers chest and stares lovingly into his baby sisters face.

“I can just tell they are going to be best friends. We weren’t sure how Brooks would react to having a baby around and whether he’d get jealous of having to share attention,” said Ashlyn.

“But it was really sweet, he already loves her so much. He is such a loving young boy and we were just so tickled by his reaction. When he first met her in the hospital, he reacted exactly the same way so we just had to capture it on video,” she added.
