[Watch] Compassionate Veterinarian Soothes Anxious Dogs By Singing To Them

Veterinarian Ross Henderson doesn’t just care for patients’ physical health, he helps them attain emotional stability by using his musical talents to soothe them. Recently, a video was uploaded of Ross, who works at the Fox Hollow Animal Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, doing just that. For understandable reasons, it has gone viral.

Reportedly, the musician and animal doctor always keeps a guitar by his side as music has proven to be a beneficial aid when it comes to calming down anxious dogs.

In the video below (which has been shared 88,000 times), Ross sings to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Stop Fallin’ In Love.” Ruby, one of the shelter’s more anxious dogs, is the lucky recipient of his sweet crooning. Obviously comforted by the music, Ruby curls up and falls asleep on his lap. As GoodNewsNetwork points out, it’s pawsitively heart-warming.

Watch the video below:

Sometimes your patient just needs you to go the extra mile to make them feel comfortable when they're here for the day to have surgery. Dr. Ross has mastered the technique and sweet Ruby was so thankful for that ❤ #FoxHollowVet
