14. Eat Healthy, High-protein Food
Consuming more protein rich food has been observed to lower the risk of high blood pressure. Food such as salmon, eggs, lean chicken breast, beef, beans, nuts and cheese are examples of food that pack a lot of protein and are also delicious. People who consume 3.5 ounces of protein daily are known to have a better chance of not developing hypertension, however, too much of a good thing can also be bad.
