Last night, the third – and final – U.S. Presidential debate took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, between Republican nominee Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. A number of controversial topics were presented by moderator Chris Wallace, and only a half an hour had passed before Trump’s cool, collected demeanor disintegrated and argumentation between the two candidates ensued. That’s when the debate became eerily similar to the previous two.
The spectacle seemed to inspire more humor than applause from a country fearing the November election. Nonetheless, it provided plenty of content for The Daily Show host Trevor Noah to use in his live segment following the event. As you can view below, Noah delivered a predictable, scathing attack on Trump’s performance in the final debate.
Within seconds of opening, Noah stated:
“All the prostitutes in Vegas must have really loved it because for once, they got to watch other people screw Americans.”
“This was like a bachelorette party except the giant novelty dildo was onstage behind a podium,” he added, cutting to a photo of Trump on stage.
Clinton didn’t escape Noah’s critical eye, either. She was reprimanded by the host “for wearing all white after Labor Day!”. He then retracted that statement, however, adding: “She looks fly. I’m messing with her.”
A biting hit was saved for Donald Trump. Noah proclaimed, “Donald Trump really doesn’t get why he’s losing this election. The host then cut to a clip from the debate in which Clinton described Trump’s responses to the allegations of sexual assault.
“Wow, that was power. That was an answer that Trump would really need to reach deep within his dignity to recover from. And he did not,” said Noah.
