Top 10 most unhealthy, cancer-causing foods – never eat these again!

The statement “everything causes cancer” has become a popular hyperbole, and one that some people use as rhetorical fodder to excuse their own dietary and lifestyle failures, particularly as they pertain to cancer risk. But the truth of the matter is that many common food items have, indeed, been scientifically shown to increase cancer risk, and some of them substantially. Here are 10 of the most unhealthy, cancer-causing foods that you should never eat again:

1) Genetically-modified organisms (GMOs). It goes without saying that GMOs have no legitimate place in any cancer-free diet, especially now that both GMOs and the chemicals used to grow them have been shown to cause rapid tumor growth. But GMOs are everywhere, including in most food derivatives made from conventional corn, soybeans, and canola. However, you can avoid them by sticking with certified organic, certified non-GMO verified, and locally-grown foods that are produced naturally without biotechnology (http://www.naturalnews.com).

2) Processed meats. Most processed meat products, including lunch meats, bacon, sausage, and hot dogs, contain chemical preservatives that make them appear fresh and appealing, but that can also cause cancer. 6) Refined ‘white’ flours. Refined flour is a common ingredient in processed foods, but its excess carbohydrate content is a serious cause for concern. 7) Refined sugars. The same goes for refined sugars, which tend to rapidly spike insulin levels and feed the growth of cancer cells.     DEAR MRS OSSIE; I HAVE HAD NONHODG. LYMPHOMA THREE TIMES STARTING AT AGE THIRTY TWO. I AM NOW SIXTY THREE AND HAD BREAST CANCER FIVE YEARS AGO. NO ONE ELSE IN MY FAMILY HAS HAD CANCER. I THINK A LOT OF CANCER IS DUE TO NOT BEING LUCKILY ENOUGH TO HAVE GREAT GENES. I KNOW PEOPLE THAT SURVIVED THE HOLICOST AND THEY ARE IN THEIR EIGHTIES AND NINETIES AND HAVE NEVER HAD CANCER. THEY HAD THE WORST CONDITIONS POSSIBLE-NO FOOD AND POOR CLOTHES AND STRESS OFF THE CHARTS. SO, ITS NOT THAT SIMPLE. THE SURVIVORS DID NOT EAT ORGANIC, HAVE MICROWAVE OR CELL PHONE RADIATION DAMAGE AND THE AIR WAS PROBABLY NOT VERY POLLUTED BACK THEN. SO, SOME OF US ARE GOING TO GET IT AND SOME NEVER WILL.     Please be a bit more rigorous. “Both GMOs and the chemicals used to grow them have been shown to cause rapid tumor growth” — this isn’t true. The GM crops that are in use are sprayed with pesticides and it is the pesticides which cause cancer. All of the studies that show “GM food causes cancer” have included pesticides as well. I’m completely against the way Monsanto and the GM food industry operate, but there is no evidence that simply splicing in a gene from a different species can suddenly make that plant “cause cancer” and the more this fallacy is repeated, the science world believe that all opposition to GM food is based on stupidity and ignorance, rather than the legitimate concerns of increased pesticide use and corporate control of our food supply.

      Wrong. The Seralini study had separate groups for GM corn, glyphosate and GM corn + glyphosate. All these groups showed organ damage and tumour growth.

    This article starts out by bashing the hyperbole of “everything causes cancer” then goes on to spread more, misinformed hyperbole about everything causing cancer. A poor article, poorly researched, poorly written and with a lot of misinformation.

    Everything does cause cancer these days! Scientists & the FDA are creating medications with the side effects “may cause cancer! ” How are we suppose to live without getting it?! lol
