While for a time, German Chancellor Adolf Hitler was able to bring an entire world to its knees, there were still quite a few people that were not hypnotized by his anti-Semitic ways and white supremacist promises. And although there were many adults on the side of the resistance, there were also quite a few youthful citizens who chose to fight the good fight, right alongside the members of adult opposition.

Number 1: Edelweiss Pirates
During the height of the Nazi regime, a group of teens were known as the Edelweiss Pirates, and they were originally part of a hiking group. Although it hadn’t been their original intention to become a group of so-called ‘bandits,’ this is exactly what would happen after they agreed that they were going to fight against the Nazi Regime. One particular ‘pirate,’ Jean Julich would become one of the main faces of the group.
