Great documentary but I am still very skeptical that a fair monetary system can exist.

I agree. A lot of what holds people back is money. This is a good film and everything but the Gambles are like any other rich people and their reasoning is limited to the monetary system. The film also does not address the issue of waste in the form of products that do not serve us (like trinkets sold at a gift shop). They make some really great points and I commend them for it but what isn’t needed is a new variation of the old system and that is what they’re proposing with the “alternative currency” thing. That isn’t going to help anybody. What needs to be done is to abolish the monetary system, provide for everyone just like they said and create abundance without the need for obtaining currency to make that happen.

the point is, to rid our selves of a monetary system, Simon. Have you ever heard of a Resource Based Economy? Check out Thevenusproject.com

Entertaining film. A lot of things in it make sense. The film is very well crafted. But one thing still seems unanswered: if someone in their garage constructed the free-energy machine and further developments were stopped by the government then why aren’t there (maybe i’m wrong) a clever rich scientist that invest a little bit more of his money and develops the free-energy machine fully and doesn’t inform authorities, records it with a high quality video camera, puts it on youtube and posts the blue prints so others in the world are able (hopefully) to replicate the thing. It hasn’t happened yet, or has it?
    Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately there is no rich scientist. Scientists, teachers, professors, etc. are getting the lowest wages worldwide. Where did we see the last discovery/invention presented on the TV/mainstream media?

That’s actually a really good idea, by making it open source to everyone at the same time it takes away their chance to squash it.
      lets make it happen

Libertarian propaganda… He waits until the last 20 minutes to mention Mises… He counters his whole film by saying that governement is responsible for death due to war in the name of the “group” when an hour ago he was describing how the individuals in charge of the banking cartels wielded political power to fund wars for their own benefit. How can he not see that he is contradicting himself?!

It’s WHO is now IN our government, not what our government necessarily is. Does that make sense? If we didn’t have greedy bastards at the top that are setting the pieces (or people) of their game in the positions that will exert the most power in their efforts, we could use our Constitution in the way it was intended and just leave each other alone. (If you doubt me, then research Hitler, Stalin, or Mao for starters.)

Population control attempts not possible? Riiiiight, and Nazis didn’t systematically murder 6,000 Jews per day at Auschwitz with carbon monoxide gas. Your government didn’t fucking FIND North America! It was already inhabited and then we scalped and destroyed the majority of their population. The ground that our obnoxiously large house sits on wiped out NEARLY AN ENTIRE POPULATION OF PEOPLE. People can’t be evil? What happened 50 years ago? How long ago did wealthy, white men OWN Africans? We just turn our heads because it is easier. We don’t have a solution, so what is our alternative? We have to create one and this documentary was definitely inspiring.

The innocent don’t think that they need plans – they have nothing to hide, nor a greed-driven ulterior motive. They will never rise to the top because they do not seek power. They have love and not fear. They look for the good in others and don’t doubt them.

Those who don’t see themselves connected to the universe and other people will turn against every resource and person they meet. They think that they must absorb everything they receive/can find and exploit it for their bank account, then use it to fuel their twisted societal, not humane, goals. Nowadays, they can just call up the old Federal Reserve and tell them to punch in another million into the computer out of thin air and make us pay their interest AND original debt. I mean, what?! I didn’t cosign that shit.

Are you sad? Are you angry? Good. You should be. You’ve been played.

I understand now why the govt. saw it necessary to hush up our native Indians. They stole children away from their parents and put them in residential schools ,not allowing them to speak their native language or follow their traditions. They didn’t want them to live naturally…documentary and I’m interested in seeing more….eating organic foods, using natural medicines, trading instead of using money, and they were very spiritual. We have been taught in our churches their spiritual beliefs were evil. I disagree. The things that happened in those schools up till very recently make me believe we were the evil ones. I believe we could learn alot from our native ancestors.I ‘m not saying christians are evil”” I’m a christian “,but certainly alot of wars and evil things have happened in the name of God. I believe many of the churches have been corrupted by greed and the need to control people. I believe most people are mostly good,( but gullible). Most of us like to believe we all feel the same emotions and want the same things.as the next person. Therefore it is hard for them to comprehend the reality of what really goes on. They are not able to accept that we’ve been misinformed by our schools , our churches , the media, our Drs.etc. all of our lives. It’s even harder to fathom that not all people are good and some people feel no remorse for anything they do. They just have a need to to control everybody and everything .Their need to control is so deep that it becomes what they think about more than anything else.,and this need actually controls them. This was an interesting and I’m looking forward to reading more.

Greed kills people…I feel bad for those scientists/inventors who have dedicated their work for the betterment of everyone but got the worse kind of treatment. I hope some rich person/group of people who truly care for science, for more knowledge would support and protect these people who’s passion and talent just go to waste.

I am absolutely convinced that the greed is the core of all the problems. BUT we cannot say only those on top are greedy, greed is in everyone of us, a real change is possible if people awaken to the fact, that wanting more and more destroys more and more. No technology and no system will save us, because the greed will find new possibilities for abusement in every system. The movie is good, eye-openening, but it just black-white saying those on top are the greedy and the poor majority is innocent and it’s just enough to give them a new clean energy technology to fix all the problems. the problems occures, because all of us want more and more and few of us acutally found a way to really achieve it

Taylor…you are onto it. People are the problem here. When you spend your lifetime and resources and manage to successfully dethrone those greedy, selfish, unrelenting people…they will have a replacement. There will always be another body of people to subjugate the masses with their corporate strategies for financial domination. Greed is an essential element of the modern man, they would call it success. Then those corporations would listen to our ideas and label us socialist/communist so as to strike fear into the masses and therefore nullify our efforts. The show must go on!!
What really is required is a return to the village model, of course applied to a global community. The government maintains its status but we have a council of elders that govern the direction of the communities. They ensure that everybody’s best interests are being served and watch the intent and direction of corporate, government, and individuals. Ethics, morals, effects on the community, investigative powers into secret hand shake deals and origins of business deals. Power to remove MP’s from office if they are found to move against the community. And the power to be removed if they are found to be corrupted. A council of Elders. Some may shirk at the idea but I’ll tell you one thing….the business community in any given city have such gatherings and to great effect.

To better understand this film and what it attempts to do, research the education of it’s maker, Foster Gamble… read the website ideals, examine it critically. The film omits the role of the Vatican/Jesuits in it’s deconstruction of the conspiracy…. which I found within 2 years of research as to the core of our problems…where he claims 40 years research… The Roman way is to record information for control purposes… what security do you have if you give all your ideas and information to this network that Foster proposes ? It would certainly be useful to those that wish to suppress it….
