There’s an awful lot of negative happenings taking place around the world. Sometimes you just have to tune out and focus on the good, as well as take the time to create delightful things to be excited about.
If you’re one of the individuals in need of some respite, look no further. Miami-based artist Douglas Hoekzema, also known as Hoxxoh, spends his time creating elaborate and mind-blowing kaleidoscopic murals, and they’re something of a marvel.
The street artist begins his works by layering different colored continuous rings. He continues until a plain, blank wall is transformed into a hypnotizing portal-looking mural. Hoxxoh began creating the transformative artwork when he was a teenager because he wanted to show people a different way of viewing time, relays DesignYouTrust.
It’s his hope that the brilliant colors and patterns of his murals inspire people to let go of trying to control time. In his opinion, life flows best when time is allowed to run its predetermined course.
