There has been a recent trend of hood prank videos that portray inner city blacks as aggressive and violent. This social experiment by Rice Man aimed to dispel the racist myth: “We need to learn to treat everybody as individuals”, he says.
His prank is humorous and straight to the point: “Can I give you a punch?” Rice Man asks black men in Birmingham, Alabama (a city with a higher crime rate than NYC). What will most of them do? See for yourself.
Most of us don´t need to watch this to know that skin color doesn´t have any connection to violent tendencies- but for those who still judge people on appearance and stereotypes, it´s a great experiment to share.
