For some odd reason, a couple decided to drop acid before building IKEA furniture. Though small amounts of LSD (otherwise known as micro-dosing) can be beneficial long-term (read more here), there’s no evidence suggesting popping a tab before constructing pre-fashioned furniture is a good idea.

Regardless, it certainly is entertaining.

In the following video, you can watch Giancarlo and Nicole attempt to put together a flat-pack dresser from IKEA. Because they knew others would enjoy watching the process, they filmed it — of course.

Within about 45 minutes of taking acid, the couple acts rather giddy. To say there is an abundance of giggles, actually, is an understatement. Around that mark, nothing is being built.

After 3 hours and 55 minutes, the pair has done little more than struggle with mallets, screwdrivers, and parts of the dresser. At this point, Nicole declares: “I will never build furniture while high on acid again.” Good choice, Nicole. Good choice.

Watch the experiment below:

After tackling that challenge, the duo decided to do the same thing, but on mushrooms.
