While it isn’t illegal to chew gum in Singapore, you aren’t allowed to buy it or sell it for that matter. And if you do happen to have a pack with you on your trip, be doubly sure not to spit it out on the streets as you can get fined up to $500. And for those that are required to chew it for medical purposes, you can actually get a medical prescription for it. Yup, that’s a real thing.
