The Yes Men Party In Bank To Protest Tar Sands

A week ago activist comedians The Yes Men organized a direct action against Canadian bank RBC to highlight its investment in tar sands. A native American activist first went into the bank to explain his community was directly affected by the tar sands, and stated he´d like to close his account. Suddenly, a party breaks out as the Yes Men and their group enter with balloons, music and dancing. Hopefully this small action will inspire others to close their accounts too!

Today the Yes Men are involved in #FloodWallStreet, a direct action sit-in on climate change following on from Sunday´s global march. Up to now, we know people are being arrested but details are sketchy; more on this story tomorrow.
