The world is a huge, vast place filled with almost 8 billion people living and working in it. And given the grandness of this planet, there are millions of job positions that need to be filled, including some of the hardest, scariest, and even the most lethal.

Deep Sea Fishermen
If you’ve ever seen a single episode of the show “Deadliest Catch,” then placing Deep Sea Fisherman at the top of the list of most dangerous jobs really shouldn’t surprise you. Not only do these guys have to contend with incredibly rough waters, freezing temperatures, frigid wind and the most stubborn ice, the actual work that they do aboard these ships while fishing is astonishingly dangerous. Plus the fact that there are over 100 deaths in 100,000 people in a year actually ‘make up about a third of all occupational fatalities in Alaska each year.’ Dangerous is actually an understatement.
