When the Ventura County had released Jill Ann’s records showing that she had been arrested 3 times in the 11 months before her murder, many were surprised. Her old high school principal, Kenneth Wensel said, “I can’t begin to know what could have gone wrong… She was a sweet girl. She was a lovely girl and if she ran into complications, I’m sorry for that. I know she had a good heart.”

She was a very special human being who touched so many lives with her caring and smiling face. She was always ready to help and to give and share anything she ever had with people.
