18. Juanita Bynum Earnings Go Up To $10 Million

Juanita Bynum is an American televangelist, Platinum Gospel Recording artist, New York Times Best Selling author, television, and radio host, actress, and empowerment coach, and the CEO of Juanita Bynum Enterprises. After mounting “No More Sheets”, at the singles’ conference, sponsored by fellow evangelist T.D. Jakes Bynum quickly became a worldwide voice in ministry. During that presentation she spoke to her audience saying she was “dropping off the sheets”, signaling that she was repentant, done with premarital sex, she said “I don’t wanna be disillusioned, I want a man of God, a praying man … a man that loves his mama and respects his sisters. … Say ‘Yeah!’ ” she hollered, and the predominantly female audience hollered back. She continued to give speeches drawing up to 48,000 women to The annual Women, Weapons of Power and Women on the Front Line conferences. Bynum was also a regular host for Trinity Broadcasting Network Live Program “Praise The Lord” and she also had daily programs on The Word Network and Daystar Network. On a confession offered to listeners during a radio interview on V103 Chicago, she declared “I’ve been there and I’ve done it all. I’ve done the drugs. I’ve been with men. I’ve been with women. It’s not a line, it’s my life.”  Bynum has faced controversy in recent years, in 2008 her former husband Thomas Weeks pleaded guilty to charges of sexual assault against Juanita, and according to public records she has also been arrested on a warrant for her failure to appear in a Dallas civil proceeding against her which includes a 2007 judgment ordering her to pay $140,000 to ALW Entertainment.
