People who fall under Dr. Millon’s third subtype, Petulant Borderline, are described as being unpredictable, easily irritated, impatient and ever-complaining. They always see the negative side of things which is why they distance themselves from people for fear of disappointment. They are also stubborn and defiant, preferring to do things their way even if they want to rely on people from time to time. People with Petulant Borderline personalities find themselves both feeling angry and unworthy at the same time, making them volatile and quite explosive when triggered.
