Texan McDonald’s Gives Free Vaccinations with Happy Meals

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, the Public Department of Health has to partner with McDonalds and offer a number of significant vaccinations with Happy Meal orders in Texas, according to Natural Society.

Surely something this outrageous must be fake, right? Actually, no. It turns out that a ‘free vaccination’ program alongside the fast food marketing chain has been going on for quite some time now in the city of Amarillo, Texas.

Numerous newspapers in the area, specifically one called Amarillo.com, have detailed the event that began years ago, writing,

“The city of Amarillo’s Department of Public Health and the Caring for Children’s Foundation of Texas will offer free vaccinations for children from 9 a.m. to 2 pm. Saturday at McDonald’s restaurant, 1815 S. Grand St.

Meningococcal vaccine, which is required for seventh and eighth-graders and for college students residing in campus housing; the varicella vaccine, which is required for kindergarten and first grade and for seventh-and eighth-graders; the Tdap vaccine booster required for seventh-and eighth-graders; MMR vaccine for kindergarten and first grade; and hepatitis A, required for kindergarten and first grade.

Parents and guardians are asked to bring immunization records, and children under 17 must be accompanies by a parent or guardian.”

Like KFC and other fast-food chains supporting Susan G. Komen’s ‘Breast Cancer Cure’ crusade, it seems odd that the public so willingly accept McDonald’s as the hosting location for vaccinations, especially when all it sells is low-quality, highly processed, and low-nutrient fare.

Research continues to show that consuming highly processed food devoid of life force, fiber, vitamins, and minerals (easily found in fresh plant foods) lowers one’s immune system, making them more susceptible to seasonal illnesses.

If the public seeks to forego sickness scare, it should first consider what it consumes (70% of Americans consume predominantly processed food), and make long-term, healthy lifestyle choices the FOUNDATION of their health care plan – not vaccinations.
