Inauguration day for President-elect Donald Trump is fast-approaching, and with it, anxiety as well as euphoria from people around the globe. Some are looking forward to witnessing what the business tycoon accomplishes over the next four years, and others are dreading the fact that they’ll soon have to refer to The Apprentice star as ‘President’.
Regardless of peoples’ opinions on Donald Trump, what might be agreed upon is the fact that he often lacks tact when referencing those he disdains, particularly when speaking to large crowds and when using social media platform Twitter. In fact, the President-elect’s Twitter use has been the focus of heated debate, as much of what he shares through the app is less than Presidential.
From critiquing Kristen Stewart for cheating on Robert Pattinson to mocking Democrats for losing the election just weeks before he is sworn into the highest office in the U.S., his social media privileges are controversial, if anything. And, the Twitter tirades are likely to continue, according to Sean Spicer, the incoming White House press secretary. Spicer claims that Trump’s Twitter use will not only continue after Inauguration Day, it’s expected to be a “really exciting” part of his presidency.
If this is true, perhaps @MatureTrumpTwts will be so kind to continue re-writing the President-elect’s Twitter messages over the next four years. The anonymous user’s variations of Donald Trump’s messages are far more in-line with what one would expect to be shared by a leader of a powerful country.
