6. They Obsess About Being in the Company of “Greatness”

Because narcissistic personalities believe that they are better than most people, they obsess about being only with those who they think are equally special. They seek out opportunities to be with the “in” crowd and detest being seen with those whom they regard as inferior to them. However, those important people whose company narcissists seek, often see through their façade and try their best to avoid them, leaving people with narcissistic personality disorders unable to build real and lasting connections with others.
