11. They Are Prone to Envy
Narcissistic personalities find it difficult to accept the success of others and see their achievements as a personal affront to them and what they stand for. People with this personality disorder become very envious of what others possess, such as a new house, a loving family, or a sterling career to name a few. As a defense mechanism, narcissists mask their displeasure by convincing themselves that it is they who are envied, again putting themselves at the center of their twisted dream world.
