7. Skin Lumps And Nodules
Some cases of gout can be so extreme that actual lumps and nodules form on a person’s skin by the affected joints. Due to the build up of uric acid in those joints and areas, skin lumps or nodules can actually appear. Many times they are also extremely painful to touch, they are warm and red, and sometimes even purple in color.
