Richard Lepsy

Lepsy, who was originally from Chicago, had gotten married to Jackie Hunter in 1955, and eventually moved to Michigan. He worked as a store manager for Glen’s Market. Then on October 29, 1969, Lepsy called Jackie to let her know that he wouldn’t be going home for lunch, but rather he was going to take a drive to ‘clear his head.’ It was then said that he made a call to his workplace to inform them that he wouldn’t be going back to work, and a couple of days after, his car was seen at the Cherry Capital Airport with no trace of Lepsy anywhere. But there was not enough evidence to convince authorities that Lepsy was, in fact, D.B. Cooper.
