But one of the most infamous stories in American History was the hijacking of a Northwest Orient Flight by one D.B. Cooper. Whether that was his real name or just an alias used by an ingenious criminal, the FBI is still investigating this unbelievable 46-year-old cold case.

Apparently, new clues have been discovered after all these years, and the authorities are hopeful that they may finally find out the truth.

On November 24, 1971, a man arrived at a ticket counter and bought a one-way ticket from Portland, Oregon to Seattle on Northwest Orient Airlines. He was assumed to be in his early 40’s, and probably an executive, going on a business trip. He was described to be wearing a black suit, a white shirt and a black tie with an impressionable pearl tie clip.
