What Samsung’s Privacy Policy stated

Samsung’s Smart TV is a connected device. As such, users fear that the device could be listening to more than just simple command words. And that fear seemed to have been confirmed when media outlets spotted what was written in Samsung Smart TV’s privacy policy.

The privacy policy stated the following:

“Please be aware that if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party through your use of Voice Recognition.” (This portion of the privacy policy has since been modified for clarity.)
