In response to the common drug war propaganda about the alleged dangers of marijuana, Russel Brand recently released a new video that asks a very good question: Is sugar more dangerous than marijuana?
In the video, Brand calls attention to a ridiculous experiment where Jon Snow tried cannabis with no prior experience, in a dark room, with no company, and experienced symptoms of psychosis. Brand also compares cannabis to America’s favorite drug, sugar, and shows how sugar is actually one of the most dangerous drugs on the market.
He also points to the number of states in the US that have recently legalized the substance, including Colorado, Washington, and as we reported this week, Alaska.
It was also recently reported that marijuana is far safer than alcohol, according to independent studies.
