The glue acted like cement and turned the puppy into a statue. Just look at him now!
When a stray puppy named Pascal was only four months old, he was tortured by two very twisted children. After the covering the dog with industrial glue, they left him to wander the streets in Turkey where his fur continued to attract mud, twigs, and sticks. When Pascal was finally rescued by the He’Art of Rescue organization, he appeared to be a statue. The glue acted like cement and had hardened all over his body. This resulted in Pascal only being able to move his tongue.
Fortunately, animal rescuers with the organization quickly got to work and shaved the poor dog. Due to the chemicals in the glue, the pup’s skin was raw and pulsing with red wounds. To recover from the medical damage, Pascal had to undergo a series of medical baths. Understandably, he became wary of all humans except his veterinarian. After all, humans were responsible for the mass amount of hurt he had endured.
Over time, however, the rescue team taught Pascal how wonderful some humans can be, and he slowly began to socialize more and more. After months of rehabilitation, it was finally time for Pascal to be adopted, reports the Daily Mail. His fur had grown back and his wounds had healed. It wasn’t long after the puppy was listed that he found a loving home with a family in Spain.
Now, Pascal lives with another dog and the two are as thick as thieves. As the pictures below relay, the duo enjoys running freely on the beach and receiving cuddles from their human caretakers. Finally, the puppy who was turned into a statue by industrial glue knows what it’s like to be both loved and provided for.
