Deputies in Colorado are getting a lot of attention this week after they saved a man who experienced a heart attack while shoveling his driveway.
Now and again, positive news is shared which re-inspires faith in humanity. This is one of those tales.
In Colorado, an elderly man was shoveling his driveway when he experienced a heart attack. Luckily, police officers that were first on the scene were able to revive him with CPR.
When he left for the hospital, however, the deputies stayed behind to finish the task of shoveling the driveway.
After the law enforcement workers finished the kind deed, the man’s neighbor snapped a photo of them. Shortly after, it was uploaded to Facebook, where it earned the trio hearty recognition and thanks.
The neighbor told WUSA News:
“We’re lucky to have policemen like this.”
Because most stories concerning officers nowadays seem to focus on brutality, it’s heartening when positive deeds carried out by the law enforcement workers make headlines.
