If you’ve ever wanted to explore the outdoors while being barefoot but dislike stepping on stones and abrasive surfaces, this new invention is for you. The Italian company NakeFit designed soles that are waterproof, cut-proof, heat-resistant and slip-proof in order to withstand rough terrain and conditions.
The stick-on pads might look kind of weird, but the freeing concept has made them quite popular — especially on Kickstarter, where the campaign surpassed its goal of $22,445 by over $100,000.
