The Italian company NakeFit designed soles that are waterproof, cut-proof, heat-resistant and slip-proof in order to withstand rough terrain and conditions.
The stick-on pads might look kind of weird, but the freeing concept has made them quite popular — especially on Kickstarter, where the campaign surpassed its goal of $22,445 by over $100,000.
