Mayor Tells Cab Driver To “F**k Off And Die” On Video

Boris_Johnson_FT_2013London’s mayor, Boris Johnson, was recently caught on video telling a cab driver to f*** off and die, after the cab driver started an argument with him because he has not been hard enough on the ride-share company Uber.

The cab driver reportedly yelled at the mayor You’re one of them, mate. That’s what you are. One of them.”

To which the mayor replied, “Why don’t you f*ck off and die? Why don’t you f*ck off and die? And not in that order.”

Driving away, the cab driver yelled, “Yeah, bullocks. I hope you die.”

The cellphone video that was taken by onlookers was later released by the Daily Mail and the Sun, who bleeped out a large portion of the profanity-filled recording.

A spokesperson for the mayor suggested that this was a “serial heckler,” who sought out Johnson.

“Boris has dozens of chance conversations with Londoners every week. Many are productive and friendly, some are colorful. I know most end happily. I believe this particular cabbie, however, is a serial heckler,” the spokesperson told reporters.

Cab drivers have been at odds with Uber because the ride service threatens the cab monopoly, which is held into place by tight regulations and politically connected unions, that have been able to keep other ride services out of the marketplace for decades.
