Last Time The Villagers Saw Such A Large Snake

Completely troubled over the whole incident, many of the farmers refused to leave their homes for a few days after Akbar was found. They were afraid that they too may fall victim to the next killer reptile. Even though the last time anyone saw a giant python in that particular area was in 1990, the villagers couldn’t help but be concerned about their safety and the safety of their families. They say that the last sighting of a giant python had turned up when they were turning the forests into palm oil plantations.

Akbar’s wife, Munu, was not home in the village when the incident occurred. In fact, it was reported that she had found out about what happened from the photos and videos posted on the news. Imagine her shock and sadness when she found out that her beloved husband had been killed and eaten by a giant python.
