All adoption fees are covered at this animal shelter until December 31st!
One compassionate woman is fronting all adoption fees at Sacramento’s Front Street Animal Shelter until the near year. According to the shelter’s Facebook page, Kim Pacini-Hauch wants to make sure every animal at the establishment finds a loving, furrever home.
The hope is that if people don’t have to pay the $65 – $100+ fee to adopt a cuddly friend, more animals will find the satisfactory homes they deserve. So far, this seems to be the case. The morning after the announcement was posted to Facebook, 250 people were waiting in line to adopt a new companion. By mid-afternoon, 20 of the cats had been adopted and so had 21 dogs, relays GoodNewsNetwork.
The shelter wrote on Facebook:
“An incredibly generous woman is paying for every animal to be adopted so they can have homes by Christmas! Please help us thank Kim Pacini-Hauch for her tremendous act of kindness.”

There are still animals in need of good homes at the Front Street Animal Shelter, so if you’re in the area, perhaps stop by! One thing’s for sure – Pacini-Hauch is ready to spend as much as it takes to empty the shelter for the holidays. That’s admirable and worth sharing – don’t you think?
