Coronavirus or COVID-19 is a pandemic that started in 2019. It’s a virus that was first identified in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei, China. This has seriously affected the global market as well as tourism, as the disease is very infectious, therefore can spread easily. With that said, it is all but natural for a parent to feel anxious about his child’s safety.
This is what Cao Junjie felt and he was determined to build something he can use to protect his child somehow from this global problem. Carefully thought of and built, the result was a baby pod or safety pod. Junjie, as a 30-year-old father of a two-month-old-baby, built this in a month. He says it should serve as a comfortable and safe environment for his child. At first, his wife did not feel confident about the way the baby would feel inside the pod. She was not sure it would feel comfortable enough. Apparently, after some trials, she changed her mind and was convinced her baby was safe inside the pod her husband created.
SARS-CoV-2 is another name for the coronavirus and it spreads via contact with an object with the virus and then touching the nose, eyes or mouth. This can also spread by just being near someone who has been infected and would then sneeze or cough, allowing the virus to travel by air through the air particles. However, since the virus cannot get that far, there is a 1 meter or 3 feet apart social distancing implementation worldwide. This serves as another way to further prevent being infected by the virus. The world has been fighting off and finding numerous ways to decrease the number of cases of affected people since 2019.
