What do you do when you’ve attained a comfortable level of fame and possess more money than you know what to do with? You start a food truck and hand out free sausages, apparently. At least, that’s what actor Jeff Goldblum did shortly after it was confirmed that he will be appearing in the next Jurassic World sequel.
Last week, Goldblum was spotted in a food truck which was making its way from Wynyard Station to Circular Quay in Sydney, Australia. People were both stunned and elated, as not only did they get to meet Dr. Ian Malcolm/Mr. Goldblum in person, they received free sausages if they so desired.
Mashable relays that no one yet knows what inspired the actor to set up the “Chef Goldblum” food truck, but that information will undoubtedly be shared in the future. According to an interview on radio station Triple M, Goldblum is filming something that is related to food and possibly charity. He told the station:
“It’s kind of a secret, it’s a mystery that I can’t divulge, but I’m filming something here that has something to do with food.”
“Very soon you’ll know — you may be less surprised than you think,” he added.

Some believe his presence was purely for PR purposes, as Goldblum had no involvement with the making of the sausages or its recipes. Regardless, the bit of positivity brightened many peoples’ days. If you’re in Sydney, be sure to seek out the food truck and claim your own free sausage!
