He is Raising Awareness About Hunger But Only Had Space For 50 Tattoos!

hungerProfessional soccer player Zlatan Ibrahimović has begun a new campaign with the World Food Programme to raise awareness about hunger.

The name of the campaign is “805 Million Names”, to represent the 805 million people in the world who are suffering from hunger.

Zlatan Ibrahimović is a fitting spokesman for this effort because of his unique set of tattoos. Ibrahimović recently got 50 random names tattooed all over his body, each of them representing a person who is suffering from hunger.

Earlier this week  Ibrahimović uploaded a short video to his Instagram account where he explained his tattoos.

In the video, Ibrahimović says:

“Wherever I go people recognize me, call my name, cheer for me, but there are names no one cheers for. There are 805 million people suffering from hunger in the world today. Too many of them are children. They are struck by war, natural disasters and extreme poverty. I have supporters all over the world. Beginning today, I want this support to go to the people who really need it. So whenever you hear my name, you will think of their names. Whenever you see me, you will see them.”
