1. North Korea
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, also known as North Korea, is a typically isolated place where tourism isn’t encouraged and visitors need to struggle with strict government policies related to immigration and visa applications. Within the territory of this country, the government does not welcome touristic adventure. One of the requirements clearly mandated for all tourists prior entering the country is to book a complete tour package that includes hotels and three square meals. Most North Korean embassies are not easy to access and visitors are advised to stay in their hotels during their stay and forbidden from taking photographs.
