They began sharing their journey in early 2009 on the blog Man vs. Debt, now 15000 subscribers strong. In sharing their ups and downs in the areas of personal finance, consumerism, clutter, travel, minimalism, and passionate entrepreneurship, they realized they aren’t alone in a desire to explore and grow.

  1. i’ve been sitting here stunned for 30 minutes. i did this. i did almost exactly this. granted, i am not married or have a child, but… i sold everything i owned, went to chicago then LA, and then flew to cairns and backpacked down to brisbane.

it’s no coincidence that i found this… now i just need to figure out what i was supposed to learn…

      I intuitively just know this.

I’m usually getting rid of my crap. Always been a minimalist at heart.

      no debt.

      I want rich experiences.

I don’t identify with my stuff.

If I didn’t have a few kids I would be a nomad right now, but it will have to wait 10 yrs.
