Alfred, I feel the exact same. Like 95% of the western world population are too comfortable/complacent to protest. It feels to me, like everyone’s standing on a beach, so entertained that noones realises there is a tidal wave racing toward the shore. We have 20-50 good years left and a concerted effort must be made!! There’s no 2 ways about it. The problem is where do we start…

    • alfred  July 4, 2012 at 6:47 pm

      Sean!

      Thank you for understanding! ;)

I think its too late, there is no way back! :( those mofos literally fucked us! :O But don’t worry, the only thing we can do now, is to find our true humanity! Whats Hu whats man is human! And believe me, wen we do, some thing big is going to happen!
Just leave those fat cats alone, let them eat every thing there is! We dont need them! :O Fuck them! :O

And god sake once in a life time find our peace! :D
And stop the fear! Thats how they control us! By letting us know, that one day you will die! :O Thats our biggest comment fear!
We should not be afraid to die.! I mean we all die some day, why not just learn to live with it! ;)

My point is! Wen we all wake up! :D

hi alfred and everyone else who might read this, i am from switzerland and i felt 100% same as you during a long time. i came to realize that i can do ALOT, NOW…
what i since then started doing is loving, everyone treating everyone in every situation, in a loving heartly way i would want to be treated. this sounds so useless. but the practice of this when going to the market or the bus station is what makes the difference. i started forgiving for free. my wife and i a 1000% better since she can’t help to do the same. if you forgive anyone for anything for no reason at all. thats when we start to change our collective “vision” of humankind and stop this greed based society. its not some 400 bad people (the 1%) its everyone who becomes blind if the situation does not favor sight.
      be kind all the time.
NEVER fear ANYTHING! do not let your mind tell you anything is worth being afraid of. nothing is worth worriing about, EVER!
another thing you can do is stop watching tv. forever. stop drinking soda, coke and such, its REALLY killing you. drink green tea and water.
read! keep informed in the internet. joind movements like Zeitgeist, thrive, permaculture transition towns, read Eckhart Tolle, Homeschool your kids or send them to blueschool or similar institutions. but as i said before. 3 things.
      love.
      forgive
      fear not
      much love from switzerland.
      salem

Great sentiment. However, I get the feeling that she’s reading this off of a teleprompter or suchlike, which rings alarm bells in my mind that she’s perhaps been coerced into doing this, rather than of her own volition. I could easily be wrong, though, and if so, then kudos to her.

Hey Dan :). This is Tori’s dad. The issue of banking is definetly of high interest to me. Tori simply had to endure hours of dinner conversations. Having said that, she chose this topic of her own accord. We researched the topic together but anything she wrote in her speech (which was for a public speech meet) had to be at her level of understanding and she had to be able to explain the themes and vocabulary without notes or help from anyone. She was able to do both.
She did not use a teleprompter as she memorized the speech completely. Hope that helps!!

    Regards,

    Zane

PS thanks everyone for the comments regarding Tori.

That is amazing, Zane. Thank you for your reply and your courtesy regarding your daughter’s performance. I know some dads that immediately fly off the handle bars unnecessarily. So, thank you. And yes, KUDOS to Tori! Her speech was amazing. I even had to pause it at certain points to catch all the points she was making, and I graduated with a degree in business (honors) haha

Congratulations Zane, the world needs more parents like you. Most people I see around just keep rising spoiled and lazy childs that don’t give a damn about nothing but their own sorry arses. We need desperatly educate our children to develop the hability to observe, think and react, not just live to raise money, keep their jobs and watch TV. Maybe we should invest more in the holistic education that someone quoted in the commentaries above, ’cause tradicional education is just not working.

A very precocious and sweet child. I love the way her mom is beaming quietly at her side. What a great family; the dad engaging his daughter in documentaries, and the mom offering gentle support and encouragement. Too bad for Canadians that Victoria doesn’t have a political bent. Best wishes for a bright future Tori !

Stores are also open seven days a week , making no extra money and getting loans from the banks. And we wonder why we are so far in debt and we wonder why prices are so high. We wonder why there is no love and sharing any more. It’s because it’s all about the money .This little girl has the brains to run our country, she makes a lot of sense. We can learn from her.

      Hello in Germany
I am in Canada. Don’t be discouraged. We are all in this together. While we are being taken for a ride by our lying politicians, manipulated by the corporate powers, and see so many people with their heads in the sand – still, we have a small awakening of people who are realizing what is going on. That recognition is a powerful light to expose the lies and manipulation. This little girl is a great example of how we need to stand up, and allow the truth to shine regardless of what stands in our way.

Not a conspiracy theorist per say, but isn’t all the things ( inventions, technology, collapes, horrble events I call population control such as 9/11 & wars ) kinda happened in a rather perfect order one after another & coincidental?? Kinda like the government is behind all this & their inability ( don’t think they want to, but want to give the impression theyre trying ) to fix anything or make things better for all. Instead they are only/always worried about getting re-elected?? So, this is how its supposed to happen according to their ( the 1% ) plan & it really is our fault as a society for not being more involved & demanding by those we put in charge

People not banks are the ones out spending the $. We do have to look in the mirror and see the truth. Quit blaming the banks after the fact. Most people think need to keep up with the neighbours. Our greed isn’t something a bank has control in. Where most people mess up is the per-approved mortgage. People think need to spend the high limit with a push from a real estate agent. Nobody ever blames the middle man. I’ve owned 2 homes and always went for low to middle ground. I’ve told the agent which homes I want to look at. When they push for higher remind them they work for you and what your looking for. Peoples jobs depend on others shopping more too. Not one store will try to sell you the cheap stuff when they can get you to go higher on credit.

Becky, you are half right. You misunderstand the point, Banks will loan money that they do not have, however it is some what our fault only because we are not doing anything about it. The point here is they create money and loan it to people on interest, when that happens the Interest is basically new money, money that never existed. Not only that but if they do that to 100,000,000 people that money adds up, and that is totally disregarding the fact that they do not have the money to lend.

1 unified bank is a terrible idea, look at the USA government only loans from the national reserve and they’re financial issues are far worse than ours, the only reason our interest rates are so low is due to the competition between banks. Unless there is a massive surplus on goods our economy would not run without a deficit. The government puts all of its money back into the economy whether through infrastructure, health care or education, which in turn creates jobs for people to pay taxes, this is why businesses get grants from the government to open new positions. The more people that make money means more they spend into local business etc. On a personal level people need to spend what they have not what they are capable of spending.

It’s just the way we are!

Life is hard, life is short,
And no matter from where you come from,
It will always be the same,
We all try so hard to make our way through this life
    Through hard moments,
    Through those difficult times,
We all fight for what we believe in,
We all fight for what gives us a reason to live for,
This single reason that makes us stays alive every days of our life,
For a chance to make it to the top,
For a chance to make a difference,
We all fight hard, we all fall down, and we all try again, and again.
Because this is just who we are,
Because we all have something worth living for.
Some people live in search of power,
    Other in search of money,
    Other in search of knowledge,
We all want something different, but,
Deep inside our hearts we are all searching for one and only thing,
    The same thing that
Will put a smile upon your face every morning when you will look at yourself in the mirror,
    The same thing that
Will make tears dropping off your eyes every time you will have to face the truth,
    The same thing that
Will make you realize that you just lost something you needed the most in your life.
This same thing makes us dreaming of the impossible and the unbelievable,
Of the unimaginable and the surreal.
And when we find it, it gives a whole new vision of our life,
    It gives us hope,
    It lights up our passion,
And just gives us strength to continue no matter what the condition are or will be…
It’s the pure essence of our life,
It’s what creates us from the beginning,
And is what will be left when will be gone,
And when you will find it, you will remember it all your life,
It will be like a drug to you, and you will seek for it more and more every day.
You will not live for that, but you will live with that, and you will share it with every person you meet
You will give it back to them, like a favor, you will transmit it to the ones who cares about you, like a present… and you will do anything to keep it alive in your heart like an inconsumable flame that will never fade away…
This single little thing we all need, is no more than love… love!
This single word, hides inside its meaning a billions feelings,
This single word can make the whole world upside down, it can create it, can destroy it and like in the beginning can built it again…
Love is everything, is what we need to live, what we need to continue, and what we are when we’ll be gone…

    With love… Paschou Constantin…

People are brainwashed in to thinking they can never do anything and therefore do nothing. None of you will do anything, you will just sit around talking. Talk is cheap and words with never change anything. She talked about Jesus getting rid of the people in the temples. Well he did that though brute force and strength, sometimes someone as great and humble as Christ must get there hands dirty.

the synopsis is that Cdns. owe over $60 billion. She says that Cdns. are paying more taxes and getting poorer while bankers “pad their pockets” and that the banks and the government have colluded to enslave Cdns. She says the bank of Canada was championed by a Vancouver mayor and member of parliament in the 30′s and that this was the greatest contribution to Canada by anyone. The national bank has powers of money creation and that Canada’s debt was manageable until the 70′s when the “modern” banking system was put in place where the Bank of Canada needlessly borrows money from the Cdn. charter banks and the Cdn. debt spirals out of control with compound interest. She says the charter banks have only $4 billion on reserve but have leant out over $1 trillion. She mentions how Jesus drove out the money changers from the temple – suggesting that the money lending in place today is an evil and that it needs to be stopped. She says the solution is to simply borrow directly from the bank of Canada as it is within parliaments power to do so, and stop borrowing from the private monopoly of banks. She quotes Margaret Mead’s famous comment about never doubting a small group of people can change the world, and that in fact, it is the only thing that ever has.
      Hope this helps!

You guys do know that all of this information has been stated in the Zeitgeist Program, there are many films which give you great information like the stuff given here however it was focused on the American systems which incidentally ”that was a shocker” is basically the same as ours. I am a commie and I support the abolition of money and captial as we understand it today but I understand people’s relectance to go that far and take even a similar stance to the one I would propose. However, as long as we understand that we need to move in a direction that gives more power for change, and as long as we can rightfully get this change from the government (that is not to say that they do the work while we wait for change). No as a people we must be trustful yet everyday ask questions… I want to ask something right now and I think it has a very simply answer, ”have you ever wondered why this young woman standing in the video above giving this speech?”

My answer would be that she looked at many things, situations of family friends, situations of government institutions (she did her research well enough), etc. and she came out with more confusion with respect to how the world was ”SUPPOSED” to look. When you come out asking questions and you act on those questions and bring them forth, you will be doing exactly what she is doing here in this video.
